%20and%20I%20have%20a%20new-found%20respect%20for%20parents%20everywhere.%20%20I%20have%20a%20better%20understanding%20of%20how%20you%20do%20it,%20but%20I%20still%20am%20in%20awe%20over%20how%20you%20do%20anything%20else!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWith%20all%20that%20has%20gone%20on%20the%20past%20two%20months,%20something%20had%20to%20give%20and%20unfortunately%20it%20was%20my%20blog.%20%20Fortunately%20my%20schedule%20is%20clearing%20up%20and%20I%E2%80%99m%20looking%20forward%20to%20having%20the%20time%20to%20share%20some%20recipes%20that%20I%20have%20enjoyed%20this%20summer%20with%20you.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServes%204%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees.%20%20Put%20a%20rack%20in%20the%20bottom%20and%20top%20third%20of%20the%20oven.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombine%20all%20the%20ingredients%20except%20the%20dried%20fruit%20in%20a%20large%20bowl,%20adding%20the%20maple%20syrup%20and%20canola%20oil%20last.%20%20Stir%20to%20combine%20and%20then%20spread%20the%20granola%20out%20on%20a%20large%20baking%20sheet.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20the%20baking%20sheet%20on%20the%20top%20rack%20of%20the%20oven%20and%20cook%20for%20five%20minutes.%20%20Remove%20the%20baking%20sheet%20from%20the%20oven%20and%20use%20a%20spatula%20to%20toss%20the%20granola.%20%20Return%20the%20baking%20sheet%20to%20the%20lower%20rack%20of%20the%20oven%20and%20bake%20for%20another%205%20minutes.%20%20Keep%20checking%20at%205%20minute%20intervals%20until%20the%20granola%20is%20golden%20brown.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20the%20granola%20from%20oven%20and%20let%20it%20cool%20on%20the%20baking%20sheet%20atop%20a%20wire%20rack.%20%20Add%20dried%20fruit%20if%20using%20and%20then%20store%20the%20granola%20in%20an%20airtight%20container.%20Granola%20can%20be%20made%201%20week%20ahead%20and%20kept%20in%20an%20airtight%20container%20at%20room%20temperature.%20%20It%20can%20also%20be%20frozen%20for%20one%20month.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
