Ingredientes

  • 2 lb. carrots
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. worchestershire sauce
  • 1 small green pepper
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Direcciones

  1. Clean and slice carrots.
  2. Boil in salted water until almost tender, drain and cool.
  3. Dice onions and green peppers, and set aside.
  4. Heat the rest of ingredients in a pan until sugar is dissolved.
  5. In a glass bowl, layer the carrots, peppers, and onions.
  6. Stir sauce with a wooden spoon, and pour over the veggies.
  7. Marinate for at least 24 hours in refrigerator.
  8. Will keep for 2 weeks in the fridge!
