Receta Cornbread Stuffing
This Southern classic is a must have at your Thanksgiving table. This recipe is our take on one found my Emeril. Enjoy!
- olive oil
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1/2 lb your favorite breakfast sausage
- 1/2 lb smoked sausage (ie. kielbasa)
- 1/4 cup green onion
- 3/4cup celery chopped
- 1 green bell pepper-chopped
- 1 garlic clove-minced
- 3-4 cups cornbread-crumbled
- 2 cup chicken stock
- We don't measure, but just add a little bit of poultry seasoning, sage and thyme (about 1/2 teaspoon of each)
- Salt and Pepper
Saute up the sausages and onion. Then add green onions, celery, bell pepper, and garlic. Then stir in cornbread and chicken stock and seasonings. Stir for about 3 minutes. Put in baking dish and bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes!
