Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil (or possibly veg. oil)
  • 1 lb Lean grnd beef
  • 2 c. Minced onion
  • 1 sm Green pepper, minced
  • 28 ounce Canned tomatoes, with juice, mashed
  • 12 ounce Canned kernel corn, liquid removed
  • 3/4 c. Water
  • 8 ounce Wagon wheel pasta, uncooked
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 1/4 c. Sliced black olives (opt.)
  • 1 c. Grated medium Cheddar cheese

Direcciones

  1. Heat extra virgin olive oil in large saucepan. Add in grnd beef, onion and green pepper. Scramble-fry till onion is soft and beef is no longer pink.
  2. Add in next 8 ingredients to beef mix. Mix. Cover. Simmer gently for about 8 min till pasta is tender but hard. Stir occasionally.
  3. Stir in cheese and serve.
  4. Makes 8 c..
