Ingredientes

  • 6 x Cornish hens
  • 1/2 c. Burgundy or possibly dry red wine
  • 1/2 c. Currant jelly
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd allspice ds Each salt & pepper

Direcciones

  1. Cook glaze ingredients in saucepan till mix thickens & bubbles. Use as a glaze & also use the remainder as a sauce at the table. Roast hens in 400 oven loosely covered for 30 min; remove cover & continue roasting for 60 min more. Baste frequently with glaze.
