Ingredientes

  • 4 med Carrots
  • 2 sm White turnips
  • 4 sm White onions coarsely minced
  • 3 x Celery stalks
  • 4 x Leeks (white part only)
  • 28 ounce Canned tomatoes
  • 1 pch Thyme
  • 1 x Bay leaf
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced parsley
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 c. Consomme
  • 1 1/2 lb Polish sausage

Direcciones

  1. Clean and cut vegetables into pcs 1-inch long. In a large, heavy saucepan combine carrots, turnips, onions, celery, leeks, tomatoes, thyme, bay leaf, parsley, salt, and pepper. Add in consomme. Bring to boil and cook for 5 min. Add in sausage. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. To serve, arrange vegetables in center of serving dish. Cut sausage into slices 1/2-inch thick and arrange slices in a crown around vegetables. Serve warm.
  2. Suggested Wine: A light red wine; chilled dry white wine; or possibly a rose wine.
