Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt (12 ounce) fresh or possibly unthawed frzn cranberries, picked over
  • 1 c. Quince preserves or possibly apple jelly, (about 12 ounces)
  • 1 x Red bell pepper, minced (about 1 c.)
  • 1/4 c. Firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Grnd coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 3/4 tsp Dry warm red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Freshly grnd black pepper
  • 1/2 c. Raisins
  • 1/4 c. Cider vinegar
  • 1 x 4-inch strip fresh lemon zest, removed with a vegetable peeler
  • 1 med Onion, sliced (about 1 c.)

Direcciones

  1. In a large saucepan combine all ingredients except onion and simmer, stirring occasionally, 30 min. Add in onion and simmer 20 min, or possibly till chutney is thickened. Chutney may be made 1 week ahead and chilled, covered.
  2. Serve chutney chilled or possibly at room temperature.
  3. Yield: 3 1/2 c., 8 servings
