- 1 cup whole-wheat flour
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (or more whole wheat)
- 1/4 cup protein powder (optional, replace with flour if not using)
- 1 1â2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1â2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1â4 teaspoon salt
- 1â3 cup sugar
- 1â4 cup canola oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1â2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
