Cream Cheese Chocolate Mint Brownies

Ingredientes

  • 3 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 c. butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 c. minced nuts
  • 1 unsweetened baking chocolate squares, melted and cooled
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • green food coloring
  • 1 unsweetened baking chocolate square
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 c. powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp boiling water

Direcciones

  1. Cream together cream cheese, butter, and sugar; beat in large eggs. Whisk together flour, baking pwdr, and salt; stir into creamed mix. Spoon half of the batter into another bowl; stir in nuts and chocolate.Add in peppermint extract (and a couple drops of green food coloring) to the white batter and transfer batter into baking pan. Add in chocolate batter with nuts and swirl the two batters together; don't mix.
  2. Bake at 375°F till done (about 15-25 min; a cake tester will come out "nearly" clean. Cool; pour Chocolate Glaze over top. Cut into bars.
  3. Chocolate Glaze: Heat one 1-ounce square unsweetened chocolate and 1 tbsp butter over low heat; stir constantly. When butter has melted, stir in powdered sugar, vanilla, and water.
