Ingredientes

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1 c. scalded lowfat milk, let cold to lukewarm
  • 1 stick butter, melted in scalded lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg white, beaten
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. minced nuts

Direcciones

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add in rest of ingredients in order given. Beat well. Let rise till double. Punch down and divide into 3 pie pans. Let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees till lightly brown. Split and fill when cooled.
  2. Mix the above together and set aside. Boil 1 minute 2 tbsp water and 1/4 cup white sugar. Add in to set aside mix. Cream in 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2 cups Crisco. Fill coffee cake.
  3. Mix ingredients together till crumbly. Sprinkle over filled coffee cake.
