Ingredientes

  • 2 tsp Chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 tsp Flour
  • 1 1/2 c. Heavy cream
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Red-currant jelly (optional) Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Pour off the fat from the pan the meat was cooked in and stir in the chopped onion, butter, and flour; cook, stirring, for 2 min. Slowly stir in the heavy cream and cook, stirring, till blended and thickened. Add in lemon juice and red-currant jelly and cook, stirring, till melted. (Jelly can be omitted if you like.) Season to taste. Or possibly the simplest and quickest way is to deglaze the broiling pan with light or possibly medium cream, stirring constantly and carefully to prevent curdling.
