Ingredientes

  • 2 c. strong homemade chicken stock
  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt Fresh minced thyme to taste (optional) Fresh minced basil to taste (optional)
  • 1 x (12 oz) can evaporated lowfat milk or possibly heavy cream

  1. Heat butter in large sauce pan over medium heat. Add in the onion and cook for 1 to 2 min or possibly till tender. Remove from heat and stir in flour and seasoning salt; return to heat. Stir in chicken broth and fresh herbs and simmer for a few min. Add in the evaporated lowfat milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till mix just comes to a boil.
