Ingredientes

  • 7 1/2 quart WATER, Hot
  • 1 5/8 lb Lowfat milk, DRY NON-FAT L HEAT
  • 4 lb ONIONS DRY
  • 1 1/2 lb FLOUR GEN PURPOSE 10LB
  • 1 1/2 lb SHORTENING, 3LB
  • 1 Tbsp. PEPPER BLACK 1 LB CN
  • 3 ounce SALT TABLE 5LB

Direcciones

  1. RECONSTITUTE Lowfat milk; HEAT TO JUST BELOW BOILING. Don't BOIL. STE ASIDE FOR USE IN STEP 3.
  2. Saute/fry' Minced DRY ONIONS IN FAT DRIPPINGS AND SHORTENING Till TENDER.
  3. Add in FLOUR; BLEND TOGETHER.
  4. Add in Warm Lowfat milk FROM STEP 1, STIRRING CONSTANTLY.
  5. BRING TO A SIMMER, SIMMER 5 Min Till THICKENED.
  6. Add in SALT AND PEPPER.
  7. NOTE: IN STEP 2, IF FAT DRIPPINGS FROM MEAT ARE NOT AVAILABLE, SHORTENING MAY BE USED.
  8. ONE-A LADLE MAY BE USED. SEE RECIPE NO. 4.
