Creamed Carrots

Ingredientes

  • Stuvade morotter Swedish
  • 600 gm carrots water salt Sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine or possibly butter
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 400 ml lowfat milk mixed with liquid from cooking the carrots
  • 4 Tbsp. finely minced paraley Peel and cut the carrots in cubes or possibly slices. Cook in lightly salted water until tender. Drain well.

Direcciones

  1. In a saucepan heat the margarine or possibly butter.
  2. Stir in the flour.
  3. Add in the lowfat milk and bring to a boil beating the sauce till smooth.
  4. Let cook for a few min.
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Mix in the cooked carrots and parsley.
  7. Instead of carrots any kind of vegetables e.g. peas beans or possibly white cabbage may be used.
