- Add in cilantro, parsley, extra virgin olive oil, and lime juice to a blender or possibly food processor fitted with the metal blade. Process till almost pureed. Peel and pit avocado; add in to blender or possibly processor. Process till smooth. Add in mayonnaise; process just to blend. Pour into a bowl; season with warm pepper sauce, salt, and pepper. Cover and chill. Keep chilled till served.
- This recipe yields about 1 1/2 c. of sauce.
- Comments: Tart and creamy, this sauce is great with boiled shrimp. Another time, spread it on chicken or possibly seafood sandwiches. The lime juice keeps the avocado from darkening.
