Creamy Tomato Vodka Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 x Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 sm Onion, finely minced
  • 2 x Bacon strips, finely minced
  • 1 1/2 c. Whipping cream
  • 1/4 c. Vodka
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 can (5.5 ounce) tomato paste
  • 4 c. Penne rigate
  • 1/4 c. Grated parmesan cheese

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in garlic, onion & bacon; cook 5-7 min or possibly till lightly browned. Stir in cream, vodka, salt, pepper and tomato paste. Reduce heat and simmer 10 min. Meanwhile, in a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook paste 11 min, or possibly till tender but hard. Stir 2 Tbsp. into tomato sauce. Add in pasta and toss to coat.
  2. Sprinkle with remaining parmesan and serve.
