%20This%20recipe%20was%20inspired%20by%20a%202%20second%20clip%20I%20saw%20on%20the%20Food%20Network%20while%20I%20was%20flying%20from%20Montreal%20to%20Halifax%20a%20couple%20weeks%20ago.%20There%20was%20a%20commercial%20for%20some%20type%20of%20BBQ%20show,%20and%20I%20saw%20a%20big%20batch%20of%20raspberry%20pur%C3%A9e.%20I%20have%20no%20idea%20what%20they%20were%20going%20to%20do%20with%20it,%20but%20my%20mind%20came%20up%20with%20the%20perfect%20idea:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20sauce%20pan,%20gently%20simmer%20the%20first%20three%20ingredients%20till%20sugar%20is%20dissolved%20and%20most%20of%20the%20raspberries%20are%20broken%20up.%20Set%20aside%20to%20cool.%20Rub%20garlic%20over%20the%20pork,%20leaving%20the%20minced%20pieces%20stuck%20to%20the%20side%20of%20the%20meat.%20Pour%20the%20raspberry%20mixture%20over%20both%20sides%20of%20the%20pork,%20reserving%20some%20of%20the%20sauce%20for%20later.%20Cover%20with%20plastic%20wrap%20and%20refrigerate%20for%20a%20few%20hours.%20Grill%20on%20the%20BBQ%20over%20medium-high%20heat%20for%20about%204-5%20minutes%20on%20each%20side%20(top,%20bottom,%20and%20both%20sides).%20Tent%20with%20tinfoil%20and%20let%20the%20meat%20rest%20for%2010%20minutes%20before%20slicing.%20Heat%20the%20reserved%20raspberry%20mixture%20until%20simmering,%20and%20serve%20with%20the%20pork.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20had%20the%20perfect%20balance%20of%20sweet%20and%20heat,%20and%20it%20was%20super%20juicy%20and%20tender.%20The%20whole%20family%20loved%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENext%20we%20have%20a%20side%20dish%20that%20my%20friend%20Lisa%20suggested%20to%20me%20a%20few%20months%20ago.%20I%20bookmarked%20the%20site,%20and%20finally%20decided%20to%20try%20out%20this%20recipe%20for%20Quinoa%20Salad%20with%20Black%20Beans%20and%20Mangoes.%20I%20used%20maple%20syrup%20instead%20of%20honey%20in%20the%20dressing,%20and%20I%20used%20a%20peach%20instead%20of%20a%20mango,%20because%20the%20mangoes%20weren't%20ripe%20at%20the%20grocery%20store.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20have%20to%20make%20this%20salad.%20It's%20spectacular!%20I%20especially%20loved%20the%20peaches%20and%20cilantro.%20(And%20the%20kids%20even%20ate%20it,%20although%20they%20picked%20out%20some%20of%20the%20things%20they%20didn't%20like.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20dessert,%20I%20made%20some%20sort%20of%20green%20tropical%20fruit%20jello%20for%20the%20kids,%20and%20I%20made%20Sangria%20jello%20for%20the%20grown-ups!%20I%20can't%20remember%20what%20prompted%20this%20creation,%20but%20at%20some%20point%20during%20my%20holiday%20in%20Quebec%20I%20decided%20that%20I%20simply%20had%20to%20try%20making%20jello%20that%20tasted%20like%20Sangria.%20It%20was%20quite%20possibly%20my%20greatest%20idea%20ever.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESANGRIA%20JELLO%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%20pkg.%20orange%20flavoured%20jello%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%20c.%20boiling%20water%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%20c.%20red%20wine%20(chilled)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eslices%20of%20strawberries,%20nectarines,%20oranges%20(or%20whatever%20fruit%20you%20like,%20but%20not%20pineapple%20or%20kiwi%20because%20the%20jello%20won't%20set)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDissolve%20jello%20in%20boiling%20water.%20Add%20cold%20red%20wine.%20Put%20some%20fruit%20in%20the%20bottom%20of%204%20wine%20glasses%20and%20pour%20jello%20overtop.%20Refrigerate%20until%20jello%20has%20set.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
