Ingredientes

  • Crisco shortening or possibly Crisco oil for deep frying
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Large eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 teaspoon Crisco shortening, melted
  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn whole kernel corn, thawed, liquid removed and minced
  • Syrup

Direcciones

  1. Heat 2 to 3 inches Crisco shortening or possibly Crisco oil to 365 degrees in deep fryer or possibly deep saucepan.
  2. Combine flour, baking pwdr, sugar and salt in large bowl.
  3. Combine Large eggs, lowfat milk and 2 tsp. melted shortening in medium bowl. Stir in corn. Add in to flour mix. Stir just till dry ingredients are moistened.
  4. Drop by tablespoonfuls, a few at a time, into shortening or possibly oil. Fry 3 or possibly 4 min or possibly till golden. Turn as needed for even browning. Remove with slotted metal spoon. Drain on paper towels. Serve warm with syrup. 8 servings.
  5. TIP: Use 1 (12 ounce.) can whole kernel corn, liquid removed, in place of frzn corn.
