Receta Crispy Corn Fritters

Ingredientes
- Crisco shortening or possibly Crisco oil for deep frying
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 Large eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 teaspoon Crisco shortening, melted
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn whole kernel corn, thawed, liquid removed and minced

Direcciones
- Heat 2 to 3 inches Crisco shortening or possibly Crisco oil to 365 degrees in deep fryer or possibly deep saucepan.
- Combine flour, baking pwdr, sugar and salt in large bowl.
- Combine Large eggs, lowfat milk and 2 tsp. melted shortening in medium bowl. Stir in corn. Add in to flour mix. Stir just till dry ingredients are moistened.
- Drop by tablespoonfuls, a few at a time, into shortening or possibly oil. Fry 3 or possibly 4 min or possibly till golden. Turn as needed for even browning. Remove with slotted metal spoon. Drain on paper towels. Serve warm with syrup. 8 servings.
- TIP: Use 1 (12 ounce.) can whole kernel corn, liquid removed, in place of frzn corn.
