Crockpot Bread Pudding

Ingredientes

  • 1 slc bread cut in 1/2" cubes
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. butter melted
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 c. raisins

Direcciones

  1. Place bread cubes in 1 1/2 quart. greased crockpot. In bowl, mix beaten Large eggs, sugar, butter, lowfat milk and nutmeg. Stir till smooth. Stir in raisins. Pour over bread; mix. Cook 1 hour on high or possibly 3 hrs on low.
  2. Set lid aside to let steam out so pudding doesn't get watery. Pour sauce over pudding when it is done.
  3. BUTTER SAUCE
  4. 1/2 c. sugar2 1/2 Tbsp. flour2 Tbsp. butter1 c. water1 tsp. vanilla
  5. Mix all ingredients in saucepan. Cook till thickened. Pour over pudding. (Double recipe for a full crockpot.)
  6. Serves 6
