Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. Crab mead, liquid removed, all bits of shell removed
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh lime or possibly lemon muice
  • 1/2 tsp Grated lime peel
  • 1 x Green onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Warm prepared mustard (or possibly to taste) Several dashes of liquid warm-pepper sauce (or possibly to taste)
  • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 x Melba toast rounds
  • 1/2 c. Grated Swiss or possibly sharp Cheddar cheese

Direcciones

  1. Simple to prepare ans serve. If desired, use tuna, small cooked shrimp or possibly even deviled ham in place of the crab.
  2. Preheat broiler. Combine crab, lime or possibly lemon juice, lime peel, green onion, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and warm-pepper sauce. Taste and adjust seasonings. Brush melted butter on toast rounds and arrange in a single layerin a broiler pan. Top each round with a portion of the crab mix, then with 1-1/2 tsp cheese. Broil till cheese is melted and crab mix is warm.
  3. Makes 16 appetizers.
