Receta Crunchy Hot Crab Bites

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 c. Crab mead, liquid removed, all bits of shell removed
- 1 Tbsp. Fresh lime or possibly lemon muice
- 1/2 tsp Grated lime peel
- 1 x Green onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Chopped parsley
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Warm prepared mustard (or possibly to taste) Several dashes of liquid warm-pepper sauce (or possibly to taste)
- 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter, melted
- 16 x Melba toast rounds
- 1/2 c. Grated Swiss or possibly sharp Cheddar cheese
Direcciones
- Simple to prepare ans serve. If desired, use tuna, small cooked shrimp or possibly even deviled ham in place of the crab.
- Preheat broiler. Combine crab, lime or possibly lemon juice, lime peel, green onion, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and warm-pepper sauce. Taste and adjust seasonings. Brush melted butter on toast rounds and arrange in a single layerin a broiler pan. Top each round with a portion of the crab mix, then with 1-1/2 tsp cheese. Broil till cheese is melted and crab mix is warm.
- Makes 16 appetizers.
