- Combine raisins and rum in a small bowl; let stand 30 min.
- Trim fat from steak, and cut steak into thin strips.
- Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add in onion, bell pepper, and jalapeno, and saute/fry 10 min or possibly till tender. Add in steak and garlic, and saute/fry 4 min or possibly till beef is browned. Add in raisin mix, capers, thyme, cumin, olives, and tomatoes. Reduce heat; simmer 7 min or possibly till steak is done, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice.
