Ingredientes

  • 3 c. Unbleached flour
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Plus
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 1 c. Dry currants
  • 1 Tbsp. Grated orange peel
  • 1 lrg Egg
  • 1 c. Non-fat plain yogurt Honey

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking pwdr and salt. Mix well. Cut butter into flour mix. Stir in currants and orange peel. In a small bowl, whisk together egg and yogurt. Add in to flour mix, stirring quickly with a fork till dough leaves side of bowl.
  2. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
  3. Bake for 12 to 15 min or possibly till golden brown. Remove to a wire rack.
  4. Immediately brush or possibly drizzle honey on tops of scones.
