Ingredientes

  • 1 (26-28 ounce.) can tomatoes
  • 1 med. onion
  • 1 med. green pepper
  • 1 lg. clove garlic
  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 sm. onion
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 inch thick slice Velveeta Cheddar cheese, cubes
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Cook tomatoes, sliced onion, sliced green pepper, garlic cut in two, and seasoning: salt, pepper, oregano, sugar. Cook about 1 hour, add in water if dish is preferred juicy. Brown meat with onion and salt and pepper. Mix bread crumbs and cubed cheese.
  2. In Pyrex or possibly Corning Ware casserole dish, place meat on bottom. Cover with cheese and crumbs. Then cover with tomatoes. Beat 2 Large eggs with bit of lowfat milk and pour on top. Bake till Large eggs are brown and cooked at 350 degrees for 30 min, give or possibly take.
