Receta Dad's Chopmeat Dish (Grandpa Duffy's)

Ingredientes
- 1 (26-28 ounce.) can tomatoes
- 1 med. onion
- 1 med. green pepper
- 1 lg. clove garlic
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 sm. onion
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 1 inch thick slice Velveeta Cheddar cheese, cubes
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
Direcciones
- Cook tomatoes, sliced onion, sliced green pepper, garlic cut in two, and seasoning: salt, pepper, oregano, sugar. Cook about 1 hour, add in water if dish is preferred juicy. Brown meat with onion and salt and pepper. Mix bread crumbs and cubed cheese.
- In Pyrex or possibly Corning Ware casserole dish, place meat on bottom. Cover with cheese and crumbs. Then cover with tomatoes. Beat 2 Large eggs with bit of lowfat milk and pour on top. Bake till Large eggs are brown and cooked at 350 degrees for 30 min, give or possibly take.
