Ingredientes

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 T unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cool water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 c. heavy cream, whipped

Direcciones

  1. In double boiler, beat large eggs and lowfat milk, sugar and salt. Cook over hot, not boiling, water, stirring till custard like. Remove from heat. Soak gelatin in cold water for 5 min. Stir gelatin into custard mix. Cool. Add in extracts. Refrigerate mix. Fold whipped cream into chilled filling.NOTE: If mix looks curdled, beat with electric hand mixer. Heat on hot water till thick, stirring often.
