Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk -- scalded
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 2 pkt yeast
  • 1/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 3 x Large eggs -- beaten
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. butter Apple,Cherry,or possibly Blueberry Pie Filling - canned
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cinnamon, or possibly less if you like

Direcciones

  1. Combine scalded lowfat milk, sugar, salt, and butter and cold to lukewarm.
  2. In a large bowl dissolve yeast and lukewarm water.
  3. Stir in almond extract and beaten Large eggs.
  4. Add in lukewarm mix to yeast and then add in egg mix.
  5. GRADUALLY add in flour.place dough in a GREASED 9 x 13-inch pan.
  6. Refrigeratein refrigerator, covered, for 1 to 2 hrs.
  7. Turn chilled dough onto a floured board.
  8. Roll to 12 x 16.
  9. Spread 1/3 c. butter over 2/3 of dough.
  10. Fold UNSPREAD portion over 1/2 of the remaining dough.
  11. Fold over remaining third.
  12. REPEAT this procedure TWICE more rolling to 12 x 16-inches each time.
  13. Return dough to refrigerator and refrigerateOVERNIGHT!
  14. When ready to bake:Divide dough IN HALF. Roll to 14 x 9 - inches.
  15. Cut into STRIPS, with a pastry cutter, 14"x 3/4". Twist and form each strip into a roll or possibly circle, building up sides, placing on a greased cookie sheet.
  16. Fill shells with apple, cherry, or possibly blueberry filling.
  17. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over pastries.
  18. COVER and let rise in hot place, till doubled.
  19. Bake @ 375-degrees for 12 min.
  20. Makes 24 to 30.
  21. NOTES:This take 2 days to make. This is definitely worth the time! ! ! .
