Receta Daufuskie Shrimp

- Peel shrimp, and devein, if you like. Set aside.
- Cook bacon in a large skillet till crisp; remove bacon, and drain on paper towels, reserving 3 Tbsp. drippings in skillet.
- Saute/fry onion in warm drippings 5 to 7 min. Stir in bell pepper, jalapenos, and garlic; saute/fry 7 to 9 min or possibly till tender.
- Stir in tomatoes and next 3 ingredients. Reduce heat, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 hour.
- Stir in shrimp, and cook 5 min. Serve over warm cooked grits, and sprinkle with bacon.
