%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'd%20been%20drooling%20over%20one%20of%20the%20recipes%20in%20Hannah%20Kaminsky's%20My%20Sweet%20Vegan%20cookbook%20for%20a%20while%20now.%20%20So%20this%20was%20a%20great%20opportunity%20to%20try%20it%20and%20everyone%20loved%20it!%20It%20was%20the%20Decadent%20Almond%20Cake.%20I'll%20definitely%20make%20this%20again...I%20only%20made%20a%20few%20changes%20to%20the%20recipe.%20I%20used%20almond%20milk%20instead%20of%20soy%20and%20I%20used%20whole%20wheat%20flour%20in%20place%20of%20the%20all%20purpose%20and%20soy%20flours.%20%20I%20also%20replaced%20half%20of%20the%20oil%20with%20unsweetened%20applesauce%20(I%20probably%20could've%20replaced%20it%20all!).%20%20I%20only%20used%2012%20oz%20of%20chocolate%20for%20the%20ganache,%20and%20as%20it%20turned%20out,%20there%20was%20way%20more%20ganache%20than%20I%20needed!%20%20I%20wonder%20if%20it'll%20freeze%20well.....otherwise%20I'll%20have%20to%20eat%20it....hehehe......ohhh,%20maybe%20I%20can%20dip%20the%20Louisiana%20strawberries%20in%20it%20for%20a%20dessert!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20it%20was%20definitely%20a%20great%20ganache%20recipe....I'll%20use%20it%20whenever%20I%20make%20a%20cake%20again....any%20cake!%20Wonder%20what%20would%20happen%20if%20I%20added%20a%20little%20coffee%20to%20the%20recipe...hmmmm.....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20thanks%20Dave,%20for%20giving%20me%20the%20opportunity%20to%20make%20this%20cake,%20and%20thanks%20Hannah%20Kaminsky,%20for%20this%20amazing%20recipe%20:)%20(check%20out%20her%20blog:%20BitterSweet)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEat%20smart,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ET.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
