Ingredientes

  • 4 x Large eggs, separated
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine, melted and cooled
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 pch Grnd cinnamon
  • 1 pch Nutmeg
  • 2 c. Fresh whole kernal corn (4 medium ears)
  • 1 c. Light cream
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat egg yolks till thick and lemon-colored, 5-8 min. Add in butter, sugars, salt, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix well.
  2. Add in corn. Stir in cream and lowfat milk. Beat egg whites till stiff; fold into yolk mix. Pour into a greased 1-1/2-quart. baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 35 min or possibly till a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Cover loosely during last 10 min of baking if necessary to prevent overbrowning.
