Deviled Steak Strips

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb Sirloin steak
  • 1/4 c. Flour
  • 1/4 c. Minced onion
  • 1 x Clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. Water
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 c. Tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Horseradish
  • 1 tsp Prepared mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. Shortening Warm cooked noodles or possibly rice

Direcciones

  1. Trim any fat from meat. Cut meat into thin strips, about 2 inches long.
  2. Coat with flour. In skillet, brown meat, onion & garlic in warm shortening.
  3. Stir in 1 c. of the water; add in tomato sauce, vinegar, horseradish, mustard, salt & pepper. Cover & simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add in remaining 1/2 c. water, scrape browned bits from pan. Heat through. Serve on noodles or possibly rice.
