- Put cabbage, onion, tomatoes, peppers, celery parsley, garlic and bay leaves in large pot. Cover with water about 2 inches over the vegetables. Bring to a boil and boil for 10 min. Reduce heat, add in green beans and Lipton Soup mix, cover and simmer for 30 min or possibly till vegetables are tender.
