Ingredientes

  • 1 1/4 c. hot water
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 c. whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tbsp. molasses
  • 2 tbsp. oil

Direcciones

  1. Add in the sugar and the yeast to water and let stand five min.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients and add in the two remaining ingredients.
  3. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients with a spoon. When you can no longer stir the mix, turn it onto a floured board or possibly table and knead for 10 min. (White flour may be used/kneaded into the bread to make it less sticky.)
  4. Roll dough into a large bowl, lightly coat it with veg. oil, and return it to mixing bowl. Cover the bowl and let rise for 1 hour (hot place).
  5. Flour hands and shape the dough by patting out pcs for the head, body, legs, tail and large spikes. Attach the smaller pcs to the body pcs by moistening (with a fingertip dipped in water) the edges to be joined.
  6. After shaping dinosaur, add in raisins for toes and almonds for the plates. Brush with a beaten egg. Bake 350 degrees for 30-45 min. Use ungreased cookie sheet.
