Ingredientes

  • 9 c. unbleached flour
  • 1 1/4 c. buttermilk pwdr
  • 1/3 c. baking pwdr
  • 4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 c. vegetable shortening
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar

Direcciones

  1. In a large bowl combine flour, buttermilk pwdr, baking pwdr and salt. Add in shortening and blend in with either a heavy duty mixer or possibly a pastry blender. When well blended, it will resemble corn meal. Store the fold in a tightly covered container. It will keep 12 weeks on the pantry shelf and 6 months in the refrigerator. Makes 12 c..
