Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. Yellow or possibly white corn meal
  • 1/2 c. Flour
  • 4 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 10 x Strips bacon, cooked and diced
  • 1/3 c. Melted shortening
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. Lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 425 . Combine cornmeal, flour, baking pwdr and salt in large bowl. In a small bowl, mix together bacon, shortening, Large eggs and lowfat milk.
  2. Add in egg mix to dry ingredients and mix till just smooth, pour batter into warm, greased skillet and bake 18 to 20 min, till golden, Cut in wedges.
  3. NOTES : Use Turkey bacon to save on fat and calories.
