.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20know%20how%20when%20you%20%22think%20up%22%20a%20great%20combo%20in%20flavors,%20then%20you%20google%20it%20and%20of%20course%20it's%20already%20been%20done.%20A%20gazillion%20times%20over.%20Ya%20well....it%20happens%20to%20me%20all%20the%20time.%20I%20never%20get%20to%20think%20up%20anything%20new%20and%20original.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20that%20doesn't%20ever%20stop%20me%20from%20making%20it%20and%20enjoying%20it%20and%20loving%20it.%20Especially%20this%20pie.%20It's%20no-bake%20and%20easy%20peasy.%20Perfect%20for%20summer.%20Or%20anytime%20when%20you%20don't%20want%20to%20turn%20on%20the%20oven.%20You%20can%20even%20let%20the%20kids%20make%20this.%20Of%20course,%20you'll%20end%20up%20with%20a%20sticky%20mess%20in%20the%20kitchen...but%20hey,%20that's%20half%20the%20fun%20when%20you're%20a%20kid,%20right?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20particular%20recipe%20was%20found%20on%20FoodNetwork,%20courtesy%20of%20Marcela%20Valladolid%20and%20can%20be%20found%20here:%20Dulce%20de%20Leche%20Banana%20Cream%20Pie.%20I%20did%20make%20a%20few%20very%20slight%20changes%20and%20omissions.%20You%20can%20compare%20the%20two%20if%20you'd%20like%20and%20do%20what%20you%20want.%20(that's%20what%20I%20love%20about%20cooking....making%20it%20your%20own)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDulce%20De%20Leche%20Banana%20Cream%20Pie%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECrust:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20the%20graham%20crackers%20in%20a%20food%20processor%20and%20process%20until%20coarsely%20ground.%20Add%20the%20peanuts%20and%20continue%20processing%20until%20finely%20ground.%20Pulse%20in%20the%20melted%20butter%20until%20well%20combined.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETransfer%20the%20crumbs%20to%20a%209.5%22%20pie%20dish%20and%20press%20against%20the%20bottom%20and%20sides.%20Place%20in%20the%20refrigerator%20for%2010%20to%2020%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20the%20crust%20is%20solidifying,%20whip%20the%20cream%20cheese%20and%20butter%20with%20a%20hand%20mixed%20on%20medium%20speed%20until%20fluffy%20and%20as%20lumpless%20as%20possible%20(there%20still%20may%20be%20a%20few%20but%20we%20want%20them%20to%20be%20minimal).%20Reduce%20the%20speed%20to%20low%20and%20add%20in%20the%20powdered%20sugar.%20Whip%20until%20just%20combined.%20(if%20you%20over%20whip,%20you%20might%20end%20up%20curdling%20the%20butter...not%20the%20result%20we're%20looking%20for).%20Add%20the%20cream%20and%20whip%20until%20you%20have%20soft%20peaks.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETake%20out%20your%20chilled%20crust%20and%20spread%20the%20dulce%20de%20leche%20on%20the%20bottom%20of%20the%20crust.%20If%20your%20dulce%20de%20leche%20is....too%20thick,%20you%20can%20warm%20it%20up%20a%20little%20in%20a%20pan%20first.%20Arrange%20your%20sliced%20bananas%20over%20the%20dulce%20de%20leche,%20overlapping%20as%20necessary.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20the%20whipped%20cream%20mixture%20on%20top%20of%20the%20bananas%20and%20spread%20evenly%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(ok,%20so%20I%20didn't%20know%20how%20much%20filling%20I%20was%20making%20and%20apparently%20over%20extended%20my%20crust%20a%20bit)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGarnish%20with%20%20dulce%20de%20leche%20and%20chopped%20peanuts.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'd%20show%20you%20a%20picture%20of%20the%20sliced%20product....but%20to%20be%20honest,%20I%20suck%20at%20slicing%20and%20serving%20pie.%20It%20was%20a%20mess.%20But%20absolutely%20delicious.%20The%20saltiness%20from%20the%20peanuts,%20the%20creamy%20caramel%20dulce%20de%20leche%20and%20of%20course%20the%20bananas......ok,%20so%20I%20kinda%20wanna%20stick%20my%20face%20in%20it%20and%20come%20up%20licking.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
