    These are amazing! I actually made my own Dulce de Leche. It was very simple to do. I used 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk. Punched 2 holes in the can with a nail. Fill a pot with water and bring to a boil. Be sure the water is only about 4/3 covering the can/ You don't want any of the water bubbles to enter the can. Turn to low boil. Cook for 4 hours. Remove lid pour into a bowl. All of the thick brown carmel will be at the bottom stir into bowl with a wisk. Be sure to keep adding water to the pan. This would be amazing in other desserts or ice cream. I did not need to use the hvy whipping cream. It was the perfect texture.

      Holy cow!!! This recipe is dangerous!!! My husband and I ate the entire 9X13 in two days. Yikes! This was my first attempt ever trying a cheesecake item. It came out perfect. My friends at work are begging for this recipe. Definately try making your own dulce de leche sauce. It was over the top delicious and very simple. It did leave a few rings in my pan from boiling the cans for so long, but after soaking over night in vinegar they came right off. This recipe is a keeper!!
