Ingredientes

  • 1 can Crushed pineapple in syrup, (20 ounce. size)
  • 1 can Cherry pie filling, (20 ounce. size)
  • 1 box deluxe yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. Pecans,, minced
  • 1/2 c. Margarine, (1 stick)

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13x9x2-inch pan. Dump undrained pineapple into pan; spread proportionately over pineapple. Dump in the pie filling and spread proportionately over pineapple. Dump dry cake mix onto cherry layer; spread proportionately.
  2. Sprinkle pecans over cake mix. Put margarine, cut into thin slices, on top.
  3. Bake for 48-53 min. Serve hot or possibly cool. Can be served with ice cream or possibly whipped topping.
  4. Variations:
  5. Sprinkle 1 to 1 1/2 c. minced nuts and/or possibly flaked coconut on top of cake mix before adding butter layer.
  6. Substitute apple sauce for the cherry pie filling.
  7. Substitute 2 cans of sliced peaches, liquid removed, for both the cherry and pineapple. Sprinkle a little grnd cinnamon over the peaches before adding the dry cake mix.
  8. Substitute canned apple pie filling for the crushed pineapple.
  9. Substitute butter pecan cake mix and 2 cans apple pie filling. Sprinkle 1/4 c. brown sugar over filling before sprinkling the cake mix on top.
  10. Substitute 1 can of strawberry pie filling for the cherry pie filling.
  11. Before adding fruit to the baking dish, cover bottom with 1/2 c. melted butter or possibly margarine. Then add in combined fruit, cake mix, 1 c. minced nuts and 1 c. flaked coconut. Top with proportionately distributed melted butter or possibly margarine.
