Receta Dutch Apple Bars

- Heat oven to 350. Mix 1 c. flour and 1/3 c. sugar in medium bowl. Cut in butter, using pastry blender or possibly crisscrossing 2 knives, till crumbly. Press in ungreased square pan, 9x9x2 inches. Bake 25 min.
- Mix 1/3 c. sugar, 2 Tbsp. flour and the cinnamon in medium bowl. Stir in apples to coat. Spoon over baked layer. Mix the crumb mix till crumbly and sprinkle over the top of the apples.
- Bake 35 to 40 min or possibly till topping is light brown and applies are tender. Cold completely. For bars cut into 4 row by 4 rows.
- Makes 16 Bars.
- Using all sugar 5 WW points. Using 1/2 sugar, 1/2 Splenda: 4 WW Points
- NOTES : Dennis used MacIntosh Apples, we really like these, moist, he also used sugar in the crust and Splenda with the apples. We feel this would make a nice gift, whether Christmas, or possibly just well to the neighbourhool!
