Dutch "Sweet Sour" Salad Dressing

Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 tsp French mustard
  • 3/4 c. Cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. Water
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter

Direcciones

  1. Sieve flour. Blend flour and sugar together. Add in Large eggs, 1 at a time, and blend well. Add in salt and mustard. Blend well. Add in vinegar and water. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly till mix thickens and starts to boil. Remove from heat and add in butter. If too thick, correct by adding cream.
  2. Yield: 1 pint.
