Ingredientes

  • 2 c. unbleached or possibly all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 T salt
  • 2 packages. dry yeast
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. veg. oil

Direcciones

  1. Oven at 375 degrees. Makes 1 loaf.
  2. Put together dry ingredients in large mixer bowl.
  3. Heat in saucepan over low heat till very warm. Add in 1 egg and warm liquid to flour mix.Mix - blend at low speed till moistened; beat 3 min at medium speed.
  4. Stir in another 2 to 2 1/2 cups flour to create stiff batter. (Batter will follow spoon).
  5. Rising - cover batter; let rise in warm place (approximately 50 min) till light and doubled in size. Stir down batter; spoon into greased pan. This batter does not rise a second time before baking. Put in oven. Bake 45-50 min for one 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
