Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 c. Couscous
  • 1 tsp Chopped garlic
  • 2 c. Chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd spice - (to 1/2 tspn) (such as cumin, cinnamon or possibly allspice)
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a small saucepan. Add in the couscous and saute/fry for a minute or possibly two to coat. Add in the garlic and saute/fry a few seconds, then add in the broth, spice of choice, and cook for 2 min till the liquid appears absorbed. Remove from heat, fluff up with two forks, stir in the butter.
  2. Leave to steam, covered, 10 min, then season with salt and pepper. Or possibly transfer to an ovenproof dish and finish steaming in a 375 oven for 5 - 10 min.
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
