Ingredientes

  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. seeded raisins
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon all-spice
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 c. minced nuts

Direcciones

  1. In a saucepan, combine first 8 ingredients and boil for 3 min. Set aside to cold. Add in flour, mixed with baking pwdr and soda. Stir or possibly beat the batter till smooth. Add in minced nuts.
  2. For a more fruity cake, figs, dates and citron can be added. Bake in a greased tube pan for 1 hour or possibly more. Moderate oven. Spread non-dairy Cold Whip on top or possibly eat plain.
