- 1 cup – Plain yogurt / curd (at room temperature)
- 1 cup – Sugar
- 1/2 cup – Canola oil (any cooking oil)
- 1/2 tsp – Baking soda
- 1 1/4 tsp – Baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp – Vanilla essence
- 3 tbsp – Sugar syrup (make syrup with 1 tbsp sugar and 3 tbsp water cook until sugar dissolves) For butter cream frosting:
- 1/2 cup – Butter
- 2 cups – Icing sugar
- 2 tbsp – Milk (as needed)
- 1/2 tsp – Vanilla essence Preparation method:
