Receta Eggs-Meat-Cheese Corn Bread Squares
Great breakfast or brunch recipe!
Ingredientes
- 1 cup corn meal
- 1/2 cup self-rising flour
- pinch of iodized salt
- two large eggs beaten
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 strips cooked bacon or cooked ham pieces
- 1/4 (scant) cup milk
- Garnish with some fresh chopped herbs (rosemary, parsely, thyme)
Direcciones
- Pre Heat oven 425 F/ shallow non stick baking dish
- In a mixing bowl add all ingredients (except herbs)
- do not over-mix, transfer to baking dish and place into the hot oven
- bake 12-14 minutes or until golden brown
- cut into squares and serve
