Energy Bars, Banana/Maple/Walnut

Ingredientes

  • 2 x bananas over-ripe
  • 3 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. walnuts toasted
  • 2 Tbsp. flour vital gluten
  • 1 1/3 c. rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. oat bran
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp lecithin granules
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Direcciones

  1. Combine all ingredients in Cuisinart and blend till a nearly smooth paste.
  2. Spread in 8"x8" or possibly 9"x9" pan or possibly drop on cookie sheet and shape into "cliff bar" style bars.
  3. Bake at 350 for 15 min. Let cold completely before eating.
  4. NOTE: these are not as "shiny" as the other style energy bars.
  5. NOTES : These have gotten the "thumbs-up" award from my teenagers, and they've started packing them off to school in the morning. I like to pack them when I cycle or possibly row.
