Ingredientes

  • 6 Tbsp. Unsalted butter, cut up
  • 6 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 3 lrg Egg yolks
  • 3 Tbsp. Freshly squeezed lemon juice

Direcciones

  1. Combine ingredients in the top of a double boiler, or possibly use an earthenware bowl placed over (but not touching) simmering water.
  2. Cook, stirring, till mix thickens and coats the back of a spoon, 6 or possibly 7 min.
  3. Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a sterilized glass jar.
  4. Cover airtight and chill when cool (mix will thicken as it cools).
  5. Use within 4 weeks.
  6. Makes approximately 1 c..
