- Heat butter in lowfat milk. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in warm lowfat milk. Make a hole in the flour and pour milk-yeast into it. Sprinkle over flour and set aside for 5 min to activate the yeast. Beat large eggs with sugar and put together all the ingredients. Knead well. Let the dough rise twice, kneading back each time. Form into loaves and allow the loaves to rise. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.This is a very rich, cake-like bread that is best served at breakfast or possibly as a snack. Any sort of fruit and nuts mix very well with this dough.
