Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. AM Garbanzo Flour
  • 1 c. Cool water
  • 1 med Onion
  • 2 x Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 bn Fresh parsley Warm green pepper (to taste) chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Non-alum baking pwdr
  • 1 pch Baking soda

Direcciones

  1. Mix all ingredients, except soda, together in a food processor or possibly blender.
  2. Mix thoroughly. (Falafel may be frzn at this stage. Thaw completely before adding soda and cooking.) When ready to fry, fold in the soda.
  3. Shape into small patties, 1-1/2 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Fry in deep, warm oil till lightly browned and crisp. Serve warm with tomatoes in pita bread. Add in cucumber pickles if you like.
